Tyler Florence
Co-Founder, Executive Chef
Tyler Florence creates extraordinary meals with uncomplicated recipes, universal flavors, and fresh, organic foods. He is a regular fixture on the Food Network, with shows including The Great Food Truck Race, Food 911 and Tyler's Ultimate, and he also makes regular appearances on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Access Hollywood, The View, and more. Tyler creates the recipes and cooking methods for Sprout Organic Baby Food and serves on its Board of Directors.

He is the author of seven books, including Start Fresh released in June 2011, which features Sprout-inspired recipes for babies and families. A graduate of the College of Culinary Arts of Johnson & Wales University in 1991, Tyler has received an honorary doctorate from the university honoring his achievements in the field.

In June 2008, Tyler opened Tyler Florence Kitchen essentials in Mill Valley, CA, followed by outposts in Napa Valley and at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). In August 2010, Tyler opened Wayfare Tavern in San Francisco, followed by three more restaurants -- Rotisserie & Wine in Napa Valley, El Paseo in Mill Valley and Rotisserie at SFO. He and and his wife, Tolan, are parents to Miles, Hayden and Dorothy.

Ron Davis
CEO
Ron is a value driven Executive and proven leader with 30 years of experience in the Food Industry, including the past 20 years in Senior Management with Large, Medium and Small size markets. His successful track record in leading an organization turnaround, growing existing business as well as creating new business development is quite impressive. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, brand building, business development, process improvement, supply chain management, operations, budget development & control and team building.

Ron has served as CEO for The Wornick Company Prepared Foods (99-04) where the business grew five fold over a 5-year period under his leadership, up through the sell of the Company. He started his career at HJ Heinz 1980-1991 and held various Management positions. He also held senior management positions with Truitt Bros, Edwards Baking Company and Atlanta Cheesecake Company. Ron is a member of Sprout Foods Board of Directors as well as other Businesses. Ron holds his BS/BA Business from Robert Morris College and Master Degree from Carnegie Mellon.

Dennis Hersch
Non-Executive Chairman of the Board
Dennis Hersch joined Davis Polk & Wardwell and became a partner in 1978. From 1987 through 2005 he headed Davis PolkIs mergers and acquisitions practice. In December 2005 he joined JP Morgan as Global Chairman of Mergers and Acquisitions. In February 2008, Dennis became a business advisor to Leslie Wexner, founder and Chairman of Limited Brands. Dennis is a member of the Boards of Directors of Limited Brands, Clearwire Corporation, a trustee of The Wexner Foundation and a director of The Horticultural Society of New York (chairman 2003-2006).

David McKane
David was involved in Sprout as an advisor during the development phase beginning in early 2006. David serves as a valuable source of guidance by lending his many years of consumer and agri-products knowledge to the development and management of Sprout Foods.

David McKane served as a Senior Executive at Schick Inc. from 1979-84. He served as CEO of A.I. Friedman, Inc. NYC - 1985-87. David currently is Managing General Partner Riverland and Indian Sun, LLC. Westport, CT. In addition to serving as an Advisor to Sprout, David sits on the Board of Directors of Oakhurst Dairy, Portland, Maine, which is one of the countryIs largest milk producers.

He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth.

Walter Freedman
Mr. Freedman has had a diversified work experience primarily focused on consumer goods and corporate services. He was with Sara Lee Corp., as MIS Director of Kitchens of Sara Lee; VP of Corporate Development at headquarters; and President of the Fuller Brush Company, a Sara Lee Corp. subsidiary. Subsequently, Freedman co-invested in and was CEO of Yoplait USA. In that capacity he was the leader of the launch of Yoplait yogurt in the US and its sale to General Mills. He also was an investor and board representative for the controlling shareholders of Leaf Confectionary helping it to profitability and its successful sale to the Finnish company, Huhtamaki Oy.

Mr. Freedman was COO of Wheels, Inc., a leading corporate vehicle fleet-management Company. Freedman led a diversification strategy for WheelsI ownership and purchased IVI Travel, one of the four leading corporate travel firms nationally. As CEO of IVI, he led the turnaround of the company and built it, creating an international company with sales of well over one billion dollars. The company was known for its leadership in corporate travel management. Freedman orchestrated the sale of the company, then called BTI Americas, to EDS.

Freedman presently is an investor and a consultant to private equity firms. He serves as a board member and advisor in a number of the portfolio companies. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth.

Freedman is involved with several not-for-profits boards and various philanthropic charities.

Timothy George
Tim George is a Managing Director of Lazard Freres & Co. Tim was previously a Managing Director at Greenhill and Morgan Stanley, where, among other positions, he founded and ran its Global Food, Beverage and Consumer Products Group. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Treasurer of J.P.Morgan & Co. and a Vice-President of Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Scott Schiff
Scott Schiff is a partner at Bernard Caroli Wealth Management. Before that, Scott was a Vice President in the investment division at UBS and an analyst in the M& A department at G.L. Ohrstrom & Co Inc. Scott serves as a partner at Kuhn, Loeb & Co, a partnership that makes private equity investments, venture capital investments, hedge fund investments, and fund-of funds investments. He holds a B.A. from Trinity College and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Teddy Schiff
Teddy Schiff is a co-founder and partner of Mast Capital Partners and Oyster Capital Group. The former is an alternative finance company specializing in consumer product businesses, and the latter is a boutique real estate development and private equity firm based in New York City. Previously, Teddy was an Associate in the Fixed Income Division at Lehman Brothers. Teddy holds a M.S. degree from Columbia University and a B.A. from Trinity College.

Jillian MacKenzie
Director of Creative and Product Innovation
Jillian has been with Sprout since its inception, and is dedicated to the quality and originality of Sprout's products.  She continues to be responsible for new product innovation and development, and is creative director of the company, involved in all areas of design for product packaging, promotional materials, and the website.  Jillian loves to sing, travel and read in her spare time, and is a very dedicated wife, aunt, cousin, and godmother.

Nicole Bohorad
Director of Marketing Communications
Nicole's experience as a mom to a former preemie has built her passion to help children develop to their potential. Prior to joining Sprout Foods, she led Strategic Marketing & Business Development for the National Basketball Association and ESPN for 13 years. She was a founding partner in Parentville.com, and she is on the Marketing Advisory Board for the CJ SIDS Foundation and First Candle. She has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Geoff Stella
Vice President of Marketing
Geoff brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and brand marketing from leading consumer package goods companies including Newell Rubbermaid, The Pillsbury Company, General Mills, Inc. and most recently The Coca-Cola Company. During his career, Geoff has managed brands ranging from Kix® cereal, Hungry Jack®, Gold Peak® Tea and Diet Coke®. His classical training in both sales and marketing allows him to bring a comprehensive perspective from brand idea to retailer's shelf to consumer's table.

Geoff earned a BBA in marketing from The University of Notre Dame and an MBA in marketing from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Geoff is a runner and novice wine collector. He is also the proud father of an infant daughter who is growing up on Sprout.

Executive Assistant to the CEO
Sherry brings a passion for the improvement of children's quality of life from the inside out. She brings extensive knowledge and experience that span's both the private and public sectors of corporate America and has a B.S. in Communications-Public Relations from Kennesaw State University. Sherry is the proud parent of a baby boy, who has caused her passion for children's health to expand in ways she never imagined. She enjoys reading, traveling and playing for hours on end with her little one.

CFO
John brings more than 35 years experience in a manufacturing environment across auditor, controller and financial roles, as well as a CPA license for 40 years. Most recently, he retired as the CFO of a major manufacturing company with multi-state production facilities. John attended U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and has a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana State University. John enjoys boating and reading in his spare time.

Marsha Legault
Controller
Marsha joins Sprout Foods with 16 years of experience in finance and accounting departments in the consumer packaged goods industry. She has built her career from working at companies such as Kellogg's, The Schwan Food Company and The oneCARE company in various roles from financial planning, cost accounting, and director of corporate accounting. She has a B.S in Math/Accounting with Information Systems from the University of Waterloo and is a registered Certified Management Accountant from Canada. In her free time, Marsha enjoys camping, jet skiing and spending time with her family.

Pat Dakunchak
Accounting Manager
Pat joins Sprout with more than 25 years in accounting management roles at Fortune 250 and private equity companies in manufacturing and distribution, including Meritor, Panolam Industries, The oneCare Company and Accu-Tech. Pat's focus on healthy eating and the environment drives her passion for Sprout, and she enjoys spending free time boating with her husband and black lab as well as with her cherished nieces and nephews.

Dan Heiges
Vice President - Quality Assurance and Tech Services
Dan will be the first person to tell you he has one of the best jobs in the world. As the head of food production he works closely with Tyler to maintain the authenticity of our recipes from farm to pouch. With an extensive background in Food Safety and Product Development, Dan has been responsible for launching or reformulating over 1,000 Natural and Organic products during his career. Prior to joining Sprout Foods he served as Director of Research & Development, Quality Assurance and Corporate Standards at Wild Oats Markets.

Although his two children, Evan and Mia, stopped eating baby food a few years ago, they still find ways to enjoy dad's work, like when he whips up a batch of Sprout Roasted Apple and Blueberry Smoothies. The family resides in Boulder, CO.

Dale Caldwell
Vice President - Supply Chain
Dale brings thirty years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry to Sprout. He most recently operated his own consultancy, assisting clients with sales and marketing budgeting, forecasting, and production planning. Prior to that, he held numerous positions with Schwan's Bakery Division, where he coordinated efforts to integrate the Logistics practices of Mrs. Smith's Bakeries and Edwards Fine Foods. Previous assignments at Edwards included retail brand management and marketing information management leadership positions. Dale began his career at Eastern Foods as a Manager of several local and regional markets, opening operations for two of the largest markets in the country from the ground up.

Dale is a graduate of Emory University's Goizueta Business School.

Elaine Hannah
Director of Purchasing
Elaine joins Sprout with 15 years of purchasing experience in the consumer packaged goods and food service industries, including numerous management positions in packaging and ingredients at President Baking Company, Edwards Fine Foods and The Schwan Food Company. Elaine is a graduate of East Carolina University with degrees in Economics and Computer Science, and she enjoys golf, hiking and playing the guitar in her free time.

Collin McTigue
Director of Logistics
As Director of Logistics, Collin's responsibilities include production planning, coordinating transportation of raw materials and finished goods, vendor selection, negotiating ingredient costs, and inventory management. With 10 years experience in natural and organic consumer goods, Collin has managed many aspects of developing and growing a national brand. Prior to joining Sprout Foods, he served as Private Label Sourcing Manager at Wild Oats Markets and Private Label Brand Manager at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy.

He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and currently resides in Louisville, Colorado.

Richard F. Harford
Vice President, Sales
With over 20 years of sales expertise in the retail sector, Mr. Harford has been instrumental in strategic sales development for a number of multi-million dollar companies, such as Marcal Manufacturing, Georgia-Pacific Corp., Nestle USA among others. Mr. Harford led and directed a $400 million dollar business in the North American Retail Sales Division with Marcal Manufacturing and successfully restructured the sales agency network, increasing market distribution by more than 50%. Mr. Harford, while at Georgia Pacific, was head of North American Sales with responsibility for Georgia Pacific's $5 billion consumer business. Mr. Harford holds his BS from University of Richmond.

Tim Huff
Director, National Accounts - Northeast
Tim has over 20 years of Sales Leadership experience in the CPG Industry. He is a results oriented, accountable professional that has been successful in strategic sales development with companies such as The Mennen Company, Georgia-Pacific, and Alcan Inc. Tim has experience collaborating with strategic retail customers in all channels, and successfully managed a business over $1 Billion in sales revenue for GP. Prior to joining Sprout, Tim was VP Sales for Marcal Manufacturing LLC.

Tim is a graduate of Gettysburg College. He currently resides in NJ and is married with a daughter and son.

Todd Minichilli
Director, National Accounts - Southeast
Todd comes to us with over 18 years of sales, management and leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. He has held various sales leadership positions with Kellogg's, Georgia-Pacific and Smucker's, including his most recent role as Director of Sales-Southeast for Kellogg's.

He has served as a catalyst for the successful development of sales teams, sales strategies, channel development and account penetration and has managed businesses of over $400 million in sales revenue in various categories over the course of his career.

Todd is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and currently resides in Tampa, FL.

Tony Gaeta
Director of Sales, West, Export Channel Sales
With over 20 years in various consumer packaged goods businesses, Tony has demonstrated success in leading sales teams and contributing to superior revenue and profit performance as well as establishing strong customer relationships to enhance sales efforts.

Tony began his consumer packaged goods career in the paper products category, ending with Georgia Pacific as a Regional V.P., National Grocery Teams and Western U.S., where he built nation leading shares and profits. Running and building national teams, Sales Agencies, driving profit, and maximizing revenue were among the key contributions made during his tenure. After leaving GP, he ran sales for Brady Marketing, a Manufacturer's Representative firm, specializing in high-end semi-durable goods. Prior to joining Sprout, Tony ran Sales and Distribution for Joint Juice, Inc., a manufacturer of glucosamine based HBC products.

Tony currently resides in San Ramon, CA, and is married with 2 girls and 1 boy.

Kyle Baker
Sales Assistant
Kyle joins the Sprout sales team as a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Business Management. He brings his passion and leadership to Sprout stemming from his experience as a two-time captain of the varsity tennis team at UNC, and earning the Tar Heel Leader of Distinction honor from the Carolina Leadership Academy, representing the top 1% of all UNC student-athletes. Currently residing in Atlanta, Kyle enjoys activities such as teaching tennis lessons and going to baseball games in his spare time.

Greg Torborg
Legal Advisor
Greg has extensive experience in corporate transactional work. He has handled an array of mergers and acquisitions on behalf of U.S. and international corporations. He also represents software production companies, television/video production entities and new media companies in commercial transactions, financing agreements and day-to-day business affairs. Additionally, Greg is skilled in the drafting and negotiation of trademark and technology licenses on behalf of high-profile clients.

Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Columbia University and his Juris Doctor from Fordham University. He is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association and the National Sports Marketing Network. Greg is licensed to practice law in New York, Florida, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.

He resides in Manhasset, New York with his wife, Karen, and two children.

Andrew is an attorney with expertise in capital formation, transaction analysis, negotiation and execution. He advises clients on corporate transactions, and various other transactions from both a financial and legal perspective. Aside from his expertise in representing investors and owners, Andrew has extensive experience in corporate transactional work. He has worked in excess of $5 billion in mergers and acquisitions transactions and issuance of corporate securities on behalf of U.S. and international corporations. Andrew has advised new media companies in capital formation, intellectual property matters and on-going operations.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Loyola College and his Juris Doctor/MBA from Fordham University. He is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in New York, Connecticut and the District of Columbia.

Andrew resides in Pelham, New York with his wife, Mollie, and two children.
