When our family arrived home after being in Florida for two weeks, there was assuredly NO
baby food to be had in the house. As a mom who has made all of my 12-month old daughter's baby food since she started solids, the lack of food in our house was a more-than-minor dilemma.
It was perfect timing, then, for us to find a box from
Sprout Organic Baby Food sitting on our doorstep (we live in an apartment building so it wasn't roasting outside--don't worry!).
On a given day, my daughter typically eats organic oatmeal (oats + banana + almond butter) for breakfast, finger food (peas + avocado + cheese + Lara bars) for lunch, and organic green mush (avocado, + spinach + broccoli + whole sprouted grains) for dinner. Since she is still being spoon-fed twice a day, the Sprout food is very similar to her normal diet.

How refined is your baby’s palette? If its not quite there yet, it will be after experiencing popular chef, Tyler Florence’s sprout baby food! As a health conscious mother and bit of a health food fanatic, I was very receptive to sprout baby! It is incredibly tasty, healthy, and best of all organic. It was created out of a desire for flavorsome baby food made with wholesome ingredients.
Sprout baby food comes in two stages, 1 and 2 ranging from 6 and 7 months and older. The food varies from roasted apples and blueberries to Yukon potatoes and Parmesan. Not only are these hearty but also incredibly scrumptious. The oatmeal with roasted apples smelled so delicious, that I had to try it myself. All their baby food is free of preservatives, artificial colors and flavors. In addition, they provide choices of pouches that are sensitive to certain food allergens such as diary or wheat. I happen to be gluten free so I was able to snack on a few pouches myself.
You can purchase an assortment of food pouches from Sprout Baby. The website carries a mixture of healthy, eco-conscious baby products. As a very fastidious mother, I can say that the items this site carries are fabulous and well selected.
